1. What gloves do I use with a type of chemical?
Chemical Resistance Data is always determined or based from the worst type of exposure. There is no glove that will work for eight hours on heavy exposure in every chemical. Most chemical resistant gloves are very specific in which chemicals where they tender protection. It is important that you call us @ 1-888-900-4568, or "the glove lady" to do a glove evaluation and meet your specific needs.
2. I need protection from chemicals but I also need a lot of dexterity for handling small parts. What should I use?
Excel provides a complete line of unsupported chemical-resistant gloves. Nitrileâ, Neopreneâ, Butylâ, Vitonâ, and Natural Rubber Latex gloves are available in all sizes. These gloves are designed for high dexterity and chemical resistance. They also keep hands clean and help protect products from contamination.
3. I need both chemical resistance and protection from cuts and abrasion injuries. What should I use?
Excel offers a wide variety of supported polymer coated gloves. These gloves provide excellent chemical resistance. They also protect from physical hazards such as cuts, puncture wounds and scrapes. The cotton liner reinforces the polymer lattice. These gloves are very longwearing and comfortable. For multiple hazards where dexterity is not the most important facto, Excel supported gloves may provide the best solution to your glove requirements.
4. I don't work with chemicals. I need a glove to protect the hands from dirt and injuries that are unrelated to chemicals. What should I use?
Excel also carries a complete line of general-purpose and cut-resistant gloves. We feature both cut and sewn, knitted and dipped gloves. The polymer coating on Excel gloves outwears cotton and leather gloves and some styles off liquid protection.
Our complete line of cut-resistant gloves offers a high degree of protection from lacerations. Some products in the D-Flex cut-resistant line are made with stainless steel while all are made with high performance synthetic fibers. They are fully washable, even in bleach.
